With the threat of rain, last Saturday turned out to be the perfect Prom day.  The rain held off, and the clouds kept it from being too hot.  We enjoyed taking prom pictures at Berry College of this cute couple!

We were so excited to get to spend time with sweet Addie Kay. She is the new daughter of some of our friends and we had so much fun capturing her newborn photos. We are excited that Addie Kay and Ella Kate will be growing up together. She is so lucky to be a part of such a great family and we can’t wait to share more pictures of them in the future.

Our Recycled Wall Art

I have always recycled and cared about the earth, but I have recently found a true love of the earth.  I am trying to minimize my carbon footprint on the earth in our business and in our home.  I have needed to hang some artwork above by breakfast table, but have not found anything I love.  I recently saw some artwork that inspired my new project.  Last year we laid sod in our front yard.  Well, I saved the crate that the pallet of sod came on.  I left it outside for a while to weather and then took the wood apart.  I then put the wood together how I wanted it and painted it.  I used some paint I already had leftover from another project.  The only thing I had to buy was a stencil for the letters.  Now that is recycling at its best.  Taking something that you are finished with and turning it into something else, something beautiful.
